Stelarc opened the Singularity Summit Australia in Melbourne on 7th September 2010 with a Second Life avatar driven by a collaborator and voiced by Stelarc on a short delay. He showed us his art history in a gallery in Second Life.

After a summer of speaking to potential presenters and collaborating with National Science Week, it has been decided that the Singualrity Summit in 2011 will be held during Natinoal Science Week. The exact dates of which we are almost certain are 20th and 21st of August 2011. It will be held in Melbourne.
The presentors lineup will include some speakers from last year, such as Kevin B. Korb, Greg Adamson, James Newton-Thomas etc.
Other speakers will Marcus Hutter (remotely), Ben Goertzel, Alan Hájek, David Chalmers (most likely) and many more.
